From boasting of 262 water bodies in 1960, Bengaluru today has only 81 lakes of which only 34 are recognized as live lakes. This situation has to change. For change to happen it takes collaborations. It requires communities to come together to donate of their time, effort and resources. This page gives you an opportunity to do your bit. United Way Bengaluru aggregates amounts collected under each category and uses the donations for the most felt needs. We will give you reports on how your money was spent at the end of the calendar year in which you donated. We will also issue Tax Exemption Certificates under Section 80 G of the Income Tax Act India, for all donations above ₹500
